Our 11 night stay in Villa Koupos was truly amazing. The owners met us on arrival and were so welcoming, they had also left us with some essentials in the fridge which was appreciated. Everything had been thought of down to dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent, charcoal and firefighters for the bbq. The villa was spotless and the pool and lovely garden were well maintained, towels and bed linen were also changed during our stay. This is such a tranquil location with only the sound of goats to be heard from the pool! The bbq area is amazing, we used it several times but other evenings we drove to tavernas in local villages or Rethymno is about a 20 min drive. The access road to the villa is extremely narrow, so would recommend a small hire car but you could leave it on the main street and walk the short distance if needed. We cannot recommend Villa Koupos enough, we didn't want to leave, so we would love to return one day.
Our time at Villa Koupos was beyond amazing. The villas swimming pool was a focal point for our relaxation, and the adjacent barbecue area provided wonderful evenings. With the added advantage of being able to walk to charming restaurants, our stay in Rethymno, Crete, was nothing short of perfect.
The pool was fantastic and the kitchen was great equipped, which was very important for me, as we were traveling with toddlers. Thanks!
