The villa is built over 2 floors with a sunny pool terrace at the front: The ground floor (pool level) offers a spacious open plan kitchen and dining area with a flat screen TV and patio doors leading out to the poolside balcony. On this level is the master bedroom with en suite bathroom and patio doors leading out to the balcony. Another family bathroom is on the ground level. Internal staircase leads up to the 2nd floor with 2 double bedrooms. One bedroom has en suite shower room and the other one is next to a family bathroom. Both bedrooms have patio doors leading out to the sea facing balcony. On this level is the living room with two single sofa beds and patio doors to the balcony.

It is a great place to relax and enjoy.
We had a fabulous 12- night stay at Skala Villa Green. The photos of the villa are very accurate, the facilities in the villa provided everything we needed, the pool is fantastic, the views from the pool and top terrace are wonderful, and the location is great! We loved being a little out of town as it was quiet, but able to walk to everything we needed. We had a car, which we used for getting to and from the airport, days out and supermarket runs (for bigger shops), we walked everywhere else. There is a small pebbly beach ~10 min walk from the villa (opposite Porto Skala Hotel) and if you walk on another 10 mins you get to the start of the very long Skala beach. It gets busier the closer you get to Skala Town, but as we were there is Sept, it really wasn't that busy which was lovely. The closest restaurants to the villa are 1.7km away (~20min walk), where there are two quite close together. We ate at both during our stay, and the food was fantastic. Other restaurants were a little further on, about 2.9km from the villa (~40 mins walk), again, the food was fantastic. Skala Town is 3.9 km from the villa (~50 min walk) where there are many more restaurants to chose from. There are a couple of nice cocktail bars in the town too! We did a mixture of eating out and eating in during our stay, the latter while enjoying the views from the top terrace for the evening. Simply wonderful and very relaxing. Supermarkets: There are 3 in the Skala area, the closest to the villa was good and had pretty much everything you might need, but it was more of a corner shop vibe. The next one along the road towards Skala, and the in town had more variety and were more like a small supermarket. Days out: Poros is worth a visit. Make sure you go to the town and not just the harbour. You can walk from the harbour to the town in ~10 mins. It's very small. Lots of places to eat. Long beach. On the drive from the villa to Poros there is a stretch of road that runs alongside a long (and very empty) beach. You can park at certain sports along the road. Sami area a€“ Melissani Cave, Old Vlachata village (derelict from the earthquake in 1953) and Antisamos Beach, are worth visiting. The drive over is very pretty, and the roads are fine, so long as you don't mind hairpin bends, sheer drops, and roaming goats on occasions. Argostoli a€“ we went primarily to see the turtles which frequent the harbour in the mornings, and we were not disappointed. Seeing them was one of the highlights of our holiday. All in all, we loved our holiday to Kefalonia, and our stay at Skala Villa Green. The villa, the people, the food, the scenery, the beaches, all helped to make this such a wonderful holiday. We will be back.
The location and the villa are perfect for a quiet relaxed holiday. Enough far from the crowd places but still near to almost everything: local places to visit, restaurants, tavernas, bars...I think that the pictures accurately reflect the property. There is also a beautiful beach within a few minutes walk where we enjoyed an early morning stroll. We found the people of Skala very friendly and the local food tasty. We also liked their local wines, you have to try them while you are there. Do not hesitate to book this place and villa. Would highly recommend it to everybody (couples, families, retirees...).
