What is in a name? Having found an idyllic scenic location, the owner Gerassimos dreamed of building a luxurious hotel that could be called a palace. However, Greek law states that a boutique hotel of less than 12 rooms cannot be called a Palace! So the Pavilion was born. A Pavilion is a place for relaxation and enjoyment and here you can certainly relax in luxurious surroundings enjoying the wonderful views, peace and serenity. The hotel was completed in 2007 and offers first-class service and hospitality.
 

There are 6 double and 3 triple rooms as well as 2 suites sleeping up to four persons.
 

Rooms have spacious private balconies with sea views and are air-conditioned/heated. Each room has a telephone, mini-bar, satelite plasma TV and DVD/CD player as well as TV video-games.
 

An ironing board with iron is provided and the rooms each have a safety deposit box, internet connection and electric smoke detectors. You will find a hair-dryer, bathrobes and selection of toiletries supplied. Bathrooms have hand-held showers.
 

During the evening, the Pavilion is romantically lit.
 

The Pavilion has a comfortable lounge with large Plasma TV and a Reception offering fax, printer and photo-copy service as well as luggage storage.
 

Room service is offered from 07.30 to 23.30 for breakfast, snacks and drinks.
The hotel has an elevator and the is suitable for wheelchair users.
 

For a really grand occasion, the Erissos Pavilion Hotel can be booked for the honeymoon couple and wedding guests and makes an ideal choice for a totally exclusive and private wedding reception.
 

A civil ceremony can be arranged in the newly refurbished local town hall and a reception at the hotel can be as simple or as extravagant as you wish. Booking well in advance is required to secure the whole hotel.

The hotel has a pool bar and a restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a hotel dining area and terraces from which you can enjoy the wonderful views. In the evening, the sunsets here on the North West coast are truly spectacular. Each week the hotel organises a BBQ evening around the pool.

Just outside of Fiscardo, the pretty village of Manganos retains all the charm of pre-earthquake yesteryear Kefalonia.
 

The hotel is situated ten minutes' walk away from the village which has a local grocery store, two tavernas and a cafe-bar. Manganos is en route to cosmopolitan Fiscardo which is just a short drive away.
 

The famous beach of Myrtos is just a short drive.

About 5 minutes' drive takes you to the village of Antipata with tavernas and the beach at Dafnoudi. A further 5 minutes' drive brings you to cosmopolitan Fiscardo.
 

From Manganos there is a choice of two beaches. Each has its own taverna and is shaded in part by trees. The beaches of Alaties and Ai Yerusalem are ten minutes' drive from the hotel.
 

15 mins' drive from the hotel on the way into Fiscardo the beach of Emblissi offers another alternative local beach. The beaches in this area have crystal clear water and white pebbly beaches. Alaties and Emblissi also have flat slabs of stone for sunbathing.
 

The beaches nearest the hotel each have their own local taverna situated nearby but none of the beaches offer sunshades or beach-beds and you are advised to take water and beach-kit with you.
