This lovely restored barn is located in the rolling hills that surround the medieval town of San Gimignano. Enjoying a wonderfully tranquil location, the property has some fabulous views, gardens and a private pool.

Sympathetically renovated, Casa Simona is a seamless blend of period features and modern fixtures and fittings. The fitted kitchen and designer shower room enhancing the fluted ceilings and exposed beams that gives the property so much character. This superb property is a spacious retreat for families and groups of up to 5.

The house and its furnishings create a calm oasis of cooling shades and tones. With many windows, including the traditional vented bricks, it has plenty of natural light and makes the most of the fabulous views.

The ground floor is split level. Entering the property via a furnished terrace you come into the living and dining area. Up just 4 steps is the kitchen, a lavatory and a double bedroom that has independent access from outside. Upstairs is a further double bedroom with en suite and a single bedroom that also has it’s own external access.

The house nestles within well maintained gardens, with plentiful lawns and mature trees that eventually give way to meadows and farmland. The pool is a special treat. An irregular shape it is partially covered by a domed alcove above which is an attractive sun terrace. Add plentiful garden furniture and a barbecue and you have the recipe for a restful, relaxing holiday.

During low and middle season, the minimum stay is 3 nights, with change over any days of the week. Prices on request.
During high season, the minimum stay is for 7 nights with change over on Saturdays only.
