Podere La Veduta is a historic farmhouse with cottage and annexe. It has been tastefully and sympathetically renovated, preserving the original architectural features including beautiful fluted ceilings, exposed timbers and a huge open fireplace. The properties together create a wonderful holiday retreat ideal for large groups and extended families.
 

Overall the farmhouse and adjacent buildings offer 400sqm of floor space, eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms. They are reassuringly able to accommodate up to 17 guests at a time without fear of overcrowding.
 

The principal property is the original farmhouse. On two floors, the building comprises a large and well equipped kitchen, open plan living and dining room, TV room, breakfast room, second lounge and a total of 6 bedrooms, all twin or double, and all with en suite facilities.
 

In addition there is an independent cottage with an open plan living, kitchen and dining area downstairs and an en suite double bedroom up. Also included is a ground floor annex that again has an open plan living area as well as a double bedroom with en suite.
 

Living and dining room

The living room and dining area are combined, with comfortable seating around the massive open fireplace at one end, where a large picture window and patio doors ensure plenty of natural light and wonderful views out. At the opposite end of the room is a long formal dining table that seats ten easily. This end of the room also benefits from a large window and patio doors.
 

Kitchen

The kitchen, which has been beautifully fitted out with dark wood cupboards and units, is both spacious and well equipped. It has a full size oven, hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher ensuring it is fully functional for the preparation of full meals. There is also an open fireplace with barbecue facility.
 

Other reception rooms

The ground floor the property also has a separate TV lounge with has satellite television installed as well as a small breakfast room.
Upstairs there is a further living room.
 

Bedrooms

There is an attractive twin bedded room on the ground floor, whilst upstairs there are five further double bedrooms, all of which are spacious and beautifully furnished.
 

Two of the upstairs bedrooms are furnished with king size beds that can each be turned into two singles if required.
 

Bathrooms

Each of the upstairs bedrooms has its own en suite shower room. These are attractively finished and have large, glass screened walk-in shower cubicals.
 

Downstairs, although the bedroom is not en suite there is another spacious shower room with lavatory facilities.
 

This ground floor accommodation comprises a cosy living area with kitchenette that is equipped with oven and washing machine. The large double bedroom has a romantic French bed, and there is also a shower room.
 

The ground floor of the cottage offers a comfortable open plan living area with a large fireplace, a dining area and kitchenette that is equipped with an oven and fridge freezer. Furnishings in the living area include a sofa bed which is suitable for one adult or child. There is also a cloakroom on this level.
 

Upstairs is a large double bedroom and a family shower room.
 

The property is set in lawned gardens that are surrounded by lush green hillsides and amazing views that stretch for miles. A large pergola covered al fresco dining area has a wonderful long table that simply begs to be laden with a veritable feast and is idea for barbecues and parties.
 

Within a few metres of the main building, and surrounded by a sun terrace and extensive lawn, is the large private pool, complete with Jacuzzi area. There are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas where you can dry off between dips or soak up the sunshine and the ambience of the surrounding countryside.
 

Pool dimensions

The 14m x 7m pool has a maximum depth of 1.4m. It is available for guests use between 1st May and 30th September annually.
