Alona is a stunning, totally private villa sleeping 4-8 people. The villa has magnificent views across the sea and over to Polis and Latchi. The private pool, delightful gardens and tranquility provide the perfect setting for a delightful holiday to an unspoiled corner of Cyprus.

Ground Floor (pool Level)

The villa is entered directly into a sitting/TV room area. From there we find a dining area, another sitting area and the kitchen, with utility room. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with patio doors to the poolside terrace, and a shower room.

Upper Floor

3 bedrooms (2 twin and 1 double).

Upstairs, there is also a stunning dining balcony where you can dine in complete privacy while enjoying breathtaking views.

The living room is split into two comfortable areas; a TV area with deep sofas, ideal for sitting back and watching that wide-screen TV, and the other close to the kitchen.

The living area also includes an inside dining area with patio doors looking out over the gardens.

The kitchen reflects that this is a family home, with all appliances necessary for your holiday catering, including full cooker/oven,dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. A utility room just off the kitchen houses the washing machine, iron and ironing board.

There is a sitting area between the kitchen and dining room.

Doors from the kitchen open on to a shaded dining terrace, beside the pool, with lovely sea views.

The villa has 4 air conditioned bedrooms (2 doubles and 2 twins).

The 2 double bedrooms have their own bathrooms and terrace or balcony with sea view.

The 2 twin bedrooms share the magnificent family bathroom. The bedrooms also have sea view balconies.

The villa has 3 bathrooms.

The main family bathroom has a large bath.

The other 2 bathrooms have showers.

We have just returned back from Villa Alona. Thank you Nina for a delightful stay. The weather for early season was perfect and the children still managed to swim! We loved the peace and quiet and it was so nice not to have any neighbours around - so the children could make as much noise as they wanted in the pool without disturbing anyone. The villa inside was perfect. All modern and clean. Well equipped kitchen and convenient location with door directly to pool patio.
As it was early in the season, we managed lots of walks in the nearby woods. Children loved it as there was so much wildlife to see (had trouble keeping them away from the wild mushrooms though - Nina said they were safe to eat, but we didn't risk it!)
A wonderful holiday and those sea views will stay with me for a long time yet! We hope to see you again.

There are delightful walks nearby and for those with a little more energy, you can walk into the Troodos Hills - a protected nature reserve.

Kynousa

Kynousa: a small hamlet with tiny Church and local coffee-shop - which occasionally turns into an impromptu taverna offering the most amazing homemade Cypriot specialities! It is a very sleepy location and offers some very enjoyable walks into the Troodos foothills and around the Troodos lake.

Polis

Polis: is a pretty village with narrow streets and casual tavernas. The buildings are made of local, hand cut stone which has gently aged into a soft honey colour. It is the ideal place to meander and enjoy an afternoon drink or evening meal.

Latchi

Latchi: At Latchi you will find a laid back Cypriot village with a sandy beach and waterfront tavernas. Local life focuses on the fishing harbour. The local bars are low key and welcoming.

Akamas Peninsula

Akamas Peninsula: is a nature reserve, just after Latchi, which is protected by UNESCO. It was the playground of the Greek Goddess, Aphrodite. You can swim, cycle, walk and explore this very beautiful area of the island while enjoying the wild flowers and butterflies.

The Baths of Aphrodite

The Baths of Aphrodite: a mythical location where, according to legend, Aphrodite used to bathe, set within an olive grove with sweet smelling wild flowers. It is here that she met her beloved Adonis for the first time. Adonis was hunting in the Akamas forest when he stopped to quench his thirst. He was struck by the sight of the naked goddess bathing in the crystal waters. Aphrodite and Adonis were instantly bewitched by each other's extraordinary beauty. The location is now a tended garden and well worth a visit.
