This totaly rebuilt stone house is set on a small development overlooking olive groves, grape yards and the distant mountains and is within walking distance of an attractive Cretan village and close to the main coastal highway.
Heraklion airport only 50 minutes drive away. The nearest beach would be at the village of Panormo with its attractive fishing harbour and variety of tavernas.
This house is built from natural stone by artisans who are experts in buildings of this type. The stonework is beautifully dressed and fully treated for moisture resistance. The mortar used in the construction also has a moisture inhibitor. The stonework is a refreshing change from the more modern type of construction now widely available in Crete and has a completely different look and feel. Offering cool interiors during the hot summer months, and a wonderful traditional feeling.
