Overview, Villa Amarillis, Crete, Agni Travel

This house is built from natural stone by artisans who are experts in buildings of this type. The stonework is beautifully dressed and fully treated for moisture resistance. The mortar used in the construction also has a moisture inhibitor. The stonework is a refreshing change from the more modern type of construction now widely available in Crete and has a completely different look and feel. Offering cool interiors during the hot summer months, and a wonderful traditional feeling.
