Myrties: is a pretty coastal village where life focuses on the small harbour and jetty that services the sleepy island of Telendos just opposite. You can take the small ferry (it departs every hour) and visit Teledos for a day - enjoy your own deserted beach! Or, go over for an evening meal and take the boat back after dark. It is a unique experience.

Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing: can be enjoyed all over Kalymnos. Italian climbers discovered Kalymnos as a climbers paradise due to the unique variety of lime stone rock with different kinds formations but particularly suited to the novice. There are over 300 mapped rock climbing routes. During your holiday, you will often see climbers and beginners are welcome to join in via the various schools and guides on offer.

Kalymnos Town

Kalymnos Town: locally known as Pothia, is the 'capital' of the island of Kalymnos and its main port. It is a lovely traditional town built around the port. Whitewashed and bright coloured houses radiate out from the prot, with colourful doors, shutters and balconies and atmospheric narrow alleys. It is a delightful location to spend a lazy afternoon.

Telendos

Telendos: is a small island and lies at a distance of about 750 metres from the west coast of Kalymnos. Its is a beautiful escape with pristine beaches, a few tavernas and no cars! Take one of the regular water-taxis to the the island and enjoy a delightful day. You can also visit during the evening when the tavernas look particularly magical.

Vathis

Vathis: Vathis is a wonderful green valley just 12 km from Pothia. The village has been inhabited from the neolithic age and has ruins of Hellenic, Byzantine and Roman times. The pretty port of Vathis has a few tavernas and bars.
