The property itself has been lovingly restored. Its many original features have been preserved and the house is a shining example of how to seamlessly merge old and new. Beautiful antique furnishings and rugs are entirely in keeping with the house, which also benefits from facilities such as air conditioning, internet access and satellite TV. Guests are in the enviable position of enjoying all the charm and elegance this historic property has to offer without compromising their modern day standards.

Although one large house, it is designed with kitchen, dining and living areas as well as bedrooms on both floors. This makes it equally suitable for a large group or two families who chose to holiday together but appreciate a little privacy too.

The amiable owners of this lovely property are on hand, should any queries arise, living in an adjacent converted barn.

The accommodation size is 420sqm in total, over two floors. All the rooms are spacious and certainly well able to accommodate the maximum occupancy of 10 people, plus a baby.

The ground floor incorporates a large airy living room, well-equipped kitchen and dining area. There are also two bedrooms, one double, with en suite shower room, the other a twin bedded room. A further shower room and a utility/laundry room complete the downstairs facilities.

On the first floor is a second elegant living room, kitchen and dining area, a double bedroom with en suite shower room, two further twin bedded rooms and another shower room.

Both living rooms are simply charming. The old terracotta floor tiles extend through most of the house and are in evidence in these rooms.

Each enjoys a large open fireplace and sumptuous antique furnishings as well as satellite TVs, DVD and CD players. If recorded music is not to your taste, the downstairs living room even has an upright piano. Unfortunately a pianist is not included as standard!

The downstairs kitchen is a huge space, tastefully refurbished and brimming with equipment and facilities, including a dishwasher, oven and hob, two freezers and a microwave. This room also has a long, elegant dark-wood dining table with leather upholstered chairs that wouldn't look out of place at a royal banquet, and accommodate a feast for 10 with ease.

The upstairs kitchen is also well equipped with it's own oven, dishwasher and freezer as well as a second spacious dining area.

A laundry/utility room is also located on the ground floor. It has a washing machine and ironing facilities.

The five bedrooms, two doubles and three twins, are all furnished to the highest of standards and enjoy extensive views.

Downstairs the double master bedroom has fabulous arched patio doors with filigree designs that leads out onto a small paved terrace and the lawn beyond. This room has a beautiful fluted brick ceiling and benefits from an en suite shower room and air conditioning.

The second downstairs bedroom is a pretty twin bedded room that can be converted to a double should guests prefer. It has an attractive arched window and fluted brick ceiling.

Upstairs the ornate double bedroom has an en suite shower room and fabulous views out over the gardens and countryside beyond.

There are two further twin bedrooms upstairs, one with air conditioning.

In addition to the en suite shower rooms that both double bedrooms enjoy there are two more shower rooms, one on each floor.

The property has extensive private lawned gardens that eventually give way to the fabulous views beyond.

The large pool with its panoramic setting, sun loungers and umbrellas is for the exclusive use of guests between 1st May and 30th September each year. Not even the owners of the property will use the pool whilst guests are staying.

In the pool area is a bathroom with shower, a barbeque and gorgeous covered dining area that seats 10, ideal for enjoying the Italian sunshine during al fresco meals.
