 Overview
Built during the medieval period, San Donnino was originally a church and later a farmhouse. Recent extensive and sympathetic renovation has turned the buildings into seven spacious holiday apartments that retain a wealth of character, charm and original features.
The main farmhouse has a beautiful interior courtyard, whilst a second building, a barn located about 50 metres from the farmhouse, has been cleverly converted, emphasising the wonderful stonework and latticed windows.
The property is located on the edge of Crete Senesi, standing within a 400 hectare wine and olive oil producing estate. It enjoys a panoramic location, with rolling countryside and distant views of Siena on the horizon nearly 20km away.

Layout
The apartments themselves sleep from 2 to 7 persons, are all well equipped and tastefully furnished. There are 5 apartments in the main farmhouse, of which the largest two can be linked to provide a single accommodation for up to 12 persons. The barn contains two apartments that sleep 4 and 6 respectively, but again can be linked to offer one larger accommodation.
Each of the apartments can be rented separately, or the property can be taken in its entirety, sleeping up to 31 people. Other benefits include a large communal room and kitchen that can be rented by guests, ideal for celebrations or larger groups. It also has wifi internet access, a spacious, covered and furnished terrace with some wonderful views and covered parking.

Outside and Pool
The large, well maintained gardens are laid to lawn with shrubs and trees surrounding them. The barn also has its own private lawn. A fabulous oval swimming pool in its sunny location takes pride of place, beyond which the stunning scenery seems to go on forever!
The pool is available from 1st May to 30th September.

Booking Conditions
During low and middle season, the minimum stay is 3 nights, with change over any days of the week. Prices on request.
During high season, the minimum stay is for 7 nights with change over on Saturdays only.

Heating: 10-25 Euros per day (depending on size)
