Harold Pinter, the playwright wrote several of his plays here, enjoying the peaceful seafront setting. Just imagine falling asleep to the sound of the waves lapping below. The secluded beach is just six steps away!

The cottage has its own completely private courtyard sitting area from which six steps lead down to the sparkling white pebbles of the secluded little beach.

The open plan kitchen/living room has comfortable seating with the fireplace as the focal point.

The kitchen is remarkably well equipped for this size of property with full cooker, microwave and large fridge/freezer. A washing machine can be found in the utility area between the kitchen and the bathroom.

Two steps take you up to the very pretty double bedroom with air-conditioning and built-in wardrobes.

The bathroom, which can be accessed either via the bedroom or the kitchen, has a full size bath with shower fitting.

The Cottage has its own private garden as well as the patio beside the sea,and with just six steps and a few metres separating it from a very quiet little beach, it really is the perfect location for an utterly relaxing holiday.

The sun terrace is ideal for sunbathing or dining.

The beach below is just through the gate and down only 6 steps!

The Beach

Although no beach in Greece is strictly private, the one below the cottage is very quiet. There are sunbeds and a beach unbrella, exclusively for the use of guests staying at The Cottage, and these can be taken down to the beach.

Swimming

The Cottage has the largest pool on the island - the sea itself! Just a few steps take you directly into the sea. The water is crystal clear, making snorkelling a delight.

The Garden

A very charming garden provides a complete contrast to the beach for guests staying at The Cottage. The sunbeds can be moved under the cool shade of your own private citrus grove of orange and lemon trees to escape the summer heat.

The cottage offers a totally private, quiet and secluded holiday location.

There are two Tavernas and a minimarket within a 10 minute walk.

The nearby Vitamins Taverna offers a collection and return service - to save you from walking or driving from your villa.

Nissaki

Nissaki is a small pretty resort with a horseshoe-shaped beach, offering excellent swimming and water sports. There are several tavernas specialising in local cuisine. A small harbour shelters the many little fishing boats that are moored there and there is a jetty/collection point for the Taverna Agni water taxi which offers an evening service to Taverna Agni and a twice-weekly trip to Corfu Town.

Krouzeri Beach

Krouzeri has a long beach (sandy and pebbles) offering safe swimming, water sports and diving. Beachside tavernas provide welcome refreshments to those enjoying the beach and excellent snorkelling. The nearby Nissaki Beach Hotel offers a swimming pool which is open to non-residents, a restaurant and bar and, during the evening a low-key disco. There is a jetty/collection point for the water taxis which operate in the area.

Kalami

Kalami: The bay of Kalami nestles below the hills of the North East Corfu and is famous for both its beautiful beach, and Lawrence Durrell's 'White House'.
