Kefalonia Animal Protection Association cares for dogs which have been abandoned or rescued in the southern region of Kefalonia. Roy and Alison Harrison have built kennels in the Ano Katelios region where they offer temporary housing to dogs which are looking for a new home.
There is no local funding for the care of stray and abandoned animals so the charity relies on donations and lives in hope of finding homes for Sparky, Cocoa, Kenko, Billy, Jake, Alice and Thumbalena, Cadbury, Rocky, Spot and Lady - all of whom are in temporary residence in Ano Katelios kennels.
If you would like to adopt one of the pets please contact them soon. Alternatively, if you are not in a position to take care of an animal you are invited to join their Adopt a Dog scheme where you assist financially with its upkeep until it is re-housed.
