The family-run Starlight Hotel is tucked away in a quiet location just a few minutes' walk from bars, tavernas and a grocery store. The main beach of Skala is about 10 minutes' stroll away. Enjoy some lovely local views of sea and mountain and olive groves.
The hotel is owned and run by Rita and George who look forward to welcoming back many of their repeat guests.
The Starlight Hotel was opened in 1990 and has been completely refurbished in 2005. It is a three-storey building with just 18 twin or double rooms. Children can be accommodated with extra beds and cots.

The modern and attractive rooms offer twin or double beds with private shower room. Rooms have a small fridge and TV with local channels. The private balconies offer lovely sea or inland rural views of olive groves.
Rooms are air-conditioned and have safety deposit boxes and hair-dryers provided.

Due to the number of steps at the Stalight the hotel is not really suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.

Hotel Bar

The well-stocked hotel bar is situated in the lounge/reception area. A tour guide with plenty of local information, John, will again be mixing his own brand of cocktails and Liverpudlian humour at the Starlight bar and reception.

Breakfast

The price includes Continental breakfast which is served in the dining room and consists of fresh croissants, rolls and either home-made pastries or biscuits with fresh coffee and juice each morning.

Skala is set on a very long golden sandy beach on the southernmost tip of the island, 37 km from the island's capital and is the most renowned beach resort of Kefalonia. The busy resort of Skala has everything to offer, apart from it's excellent long sandy beach - water sports, scuba diving, gift shops, numerous bars, tavernas and restaurants, offering value for money and something for everyone.
