The nearest beach to the village of Antipata is the pebble beach at Dafnoudi. This is a peaceful and secluded pebble beach which can be reached partially by driving and partially by walking along a rough track. It is a beautiful location being at the end of a steep valley and the walk through a stoney gorge is sign-posted.
The only shade to be found at Dafnoudi is in a sea-cave so you are advised to take a beach umbrella. The cove can also be reached by hiring a small motor-boat from one of the hire companies in Fiscardo.
To get to the beach from Villa Joanna, it is about 150 metres to the crossroads where you turn left at the taverna To Pefko.
You can drive past the taverna for a short way but you will need to park your car and walk some of the way to the beach. If you are walking from the taverna it takes about half an hour to get to Dafnoudi. The first 20 minutes is along winding roads but the last part requires walking/scrambling down a steep gravel track winding down to the beach.
