As Assos is a village of 100 inhabitants you will not find any large hotels and space, generally, is at a premium. The essence of the village is its unrivalled beauty and the combination of history and architecture mixed with local fishing boats and visiting sailing flotillas side by side under imposing castle walls on its own peninsula. Accommodation ranges from simple Pension rooms with a fridge to a few detached villas with pools. There are also apartments and maisonettes built on multi-levels to follow the contours of the hillsides.
There are only a couple of apartment complexes with shared swimming pool. And for this reason you are advised to book well in advance.
