Villa Danai is the perfect choice for those looking for a modern villa situated in a countryside location surrounded by the quiet Skopelos nature. Entering this spacious open plan kitchen, sitting room and dining area the modern feel combines well with the old traditional touches. Open beamed wooden ceilings and terracotta flooring add to the character of the villa.On this floor there is a twin bedroom with an en suite shower room. A stairway leads from the main floor to the upper level bedrooms. Here there are two bedrooms, each furnished with double beds.

The sitting room is comfortably furnished with sofas and the dining table sits in front of the window to take full advantage of the lovely views. Along with the brightly coloured furnishings and fireplace the arched doorways and other traditional details add warmth and character to the decor.

The kitchen is very large and well equipped with all modern conveniences including a microwave oven and dishwasher. There is plenty of counter space so all can help with preparing large family meals or your first try at Greek-style cooking.

There is one twin bedroom with en suite shower room on the main level.

On the upper level there are 2 double bedrooms having double French doors leading out to a shared balcony. The balcony is furnished with table and chairs and enjoys some of the most wonderful views offered on this side of the bay roof tops of town, picturesque harbour and full sea views toward the neighbouring island of Alonissos.

The large pool and terrace is perfect for families and parties.

Villa Danai is situated in the much sought-after area of Raches. Its position on the hillside offer stunning views and a countryside location surrounded by olive groves and plenty of walking trails. The villa has two roads leading to it one a steeply winding short route which takes only minutes to reach the town and the other long route winds around the hillside on an unmade road and leads to an asphalt road that takes one easily down to town in about 7 minutes drive. The lively town and waterfront of Skopelos Town can be reached in just a few minutes by car. Here you will find streets filled with quaint shops and garden restaurants as well as a waterfront lined with traditional Greek fishing boats and cafes where one can while away the hours watching the world go by.The nearest beach to the villa is Glyfoneri which can be reached in approximately 7 minutes by car.

Places Close By

Stafilos

Stafilos is one of the most popular beaches on the island as it is close to Skopelos Town. The beach is narrow but the surroundings are a delight. There is a footpath to Velanio beach, which is more remote, and often favoured by naturists.

Limnonari

Limnonari is a beautiful, unspoilt bay, surrounded by pine trees reaching up towards the hills. Like many of the bays on Skopelos, the pine trees grow right down to the water's edge, framing the sandy beach perfectly.

Milia

Milia, just North of Panormos, is in our opinion, the best beach on Skopelos. The beach is of fine sand and has just one little taverna

Panormos

Panormos, just a short distance from Skopelos town, is a coastal village with a pebble beach boasting increadibly clear water which is perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

Glossa

Glossa is one of the prettiest villages outside of Skopelos town. Situated in the North of the island it is arranged along a mountain ridge over the port of Loutraki. Most of the village has no cars, the only form of traffic being a donkey! The houses are brightly painted and famous for their wooden balconies (which were featured in the Mama Mia movie). Around the harbour of Loutraki is a selection of relaxing tavernas and bars.
