Elia Cottage is bungalow style with all of the accommodation and living areas on one level. The main entrance opens into a full sized kitchen and then open plan living room with traditional slate floors and wood-beamed ceilings. Opposite, is a very pretty dining room with wooden floors and French doors towards the pool area and over to Skopelos town. There are two bedrooms, a twin and a double with two bathrooms. The lounge sofas can be used as two single beds if required.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with oven and all the basics needed to make light al fresco meals.
The cottage living room has a corner fireplace with built-in sofas on either side which can be used as extra sleeping space for 2 children. French doors open from the living room on to a lovely terrace where you can enjoy some of the most fabulous views over to Skopelos Town. This is the perfect place to sit out and enjoy a bottle of local wine!
The dining room is simply delightful and has been carefully designed with large picture windows so that you can see over towards the pool and still have views down to Skopelos town.
There are two bedrooms. The master has wooden floors, a double bed and a bathroom with w/c and shower. Doors open to a 'Juliet' balcony with views towards the harbour and town. The twin bedroom is comfortably furnished and also has a small balcony which looks out at the same fabulous views.
The Cottage, has two shower rooms, one for each bedroom.

The private pool and terraces offer you complete seclusion so that you can enjoy a quiet holiday without interruption. The main terrace has views overlooking Skopelos town and out to sea.

Even though Elia Cottage is private and secluded, it is still within a convenient location to both Skopelos town and beaches. The tavernas and bars of Skopelos town are all within just a few minutes drive from the cottage, making it perfect for those not wanting to spend much time in the car. Indeed, walkers too will find the path into Skopelos a delight, taking just 15 minutes to walk down. The beaches of Stafilos and Velanio are a 30 minutes walk.

Skopelos Town, postcard perfect, is likely to be your very first introduction to the island of Skopelos as it is the main port and entery to Skopelos. A collection of whitewashed houses with red roofs along norrow streets and alleys dotted with terracotta flower pots. The town is amphitheartically shaped around the fishing harbour that is fronted by tavernas and low-key bars. Those looking for quiet relaxation will be delighted where as those looking for disco bars will be, thankfully, left wanting!
Stafilos 
Stafilos is one of the most popular beaches on the island as it is close to Skopelos Town. The beach is narrow but the surroundings are a delight. There is a footpath to Velanio beach, which is more remote, and often favoured by naturists. Limnonari 
Limnonari is a beautiful, unspoilt bay, surrounded by pine trees reaching up towards the hills. Like many of the bays on Skopelos, the pine trees grow right down to the water's edge, framing the sandy beach perfectly. Milia 
Milia, just North of Panormos, is in our opinion, the best beach on Skopelos. The beach is of fine sand and has just one little taverna Panormos 
Panormos, just a short distance from Skopelos town, is a coastal village with a pebble beach boasting increadibly clear water which is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Glossa 
Glossa is one of the prettiest villages outside of Skopelos town. Situated in the North of the island it is arranged along a mountain ridge over the port of Loutraki. Most of the village has no cars, the only form of traffic being a donkey! The houses are brightly painted and famous for their wooden balconies (which were featured in the Mama Mia movie). Around the harbour of Loutraki is a selection of relaxing tavernas and bars. |
