Kolymbia: As you enter Kolymbia you are met by a wonderful Eucalyptus road built during the Italian rule which leads down to the beach. With Its crystal clear waters and fine sand, Kolymbia attracts many tourists from all over the Island. Kolymbia started to develop only recently and has managed to maintain its natural beauty with plenty of traditional Greek tavernas and restaurants which are populair amongst the local Greek people.

Rhodes Town

Rhodes Town: In 1988 the Medieval City of Rhodes was listed as a UNESCO site and as you enter the old town steeped in history with the narrow cobbled streets you can see why it is one of the most visited sites in all of Greece. With so much on offer within the city walls, the beaches of Rhodes tend to get overlooked and the main beach of Rhodes Town is just north of Mandraki harbour and reaches out to the northern tip of the island.

Lindos

Lindos: is a picturesque village rich in ancient history and located on the south east coast of the island. It is one of the most popular travel locations in Greece and the Mediterranean because of the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly local people and the pristine town itself. The village is dominated by the Acropolis which is reached through a series of steps which can be ascended on foot or by donkeys. The ruins of an ancient theatre have also been discovered on the slope below the Acropolis. The old town is a maze of narrow streets with most of the small shops openly displaying wares from unique clothes and jewelry, to pottery, custom made sandals and leather goods, and regional crafts. In the evenings you can enjoy the many varied selections of cuisine available from the rooftop restaurants which offer spectacular views of the Acropolis at sunset, or participate in the lively nightlife of the village's numerous bars and cafes.

Valley Of The Butterflies

Valley Of The Butterflies: A short drive inland will take you to Petaloudes which is a scenic gorge which from June until September is home to the rare and pretty Kalimorfa Butterfly. Attracted by the resin in the storax trees the valley comes alive with these butterflies which are noted for there brown, black and red colour. The Valley of the Butterflies allows visitors to explore these in a quiet and peaceful setting. The site is arranged with a small river, wooden bridges, stone steps and a path leading up to the Monastery of the Village Kalamonas. The park provides a refreshing escape on a hot summer's day where visitors can walk for hours or take shade under the trees. There is also a restaurant with tables overlooking a waterfall and a bubbling stream where visitors can enjoy refreshments and rest their feet after exploring the park.
