The beach at Agios Ioannis is a seemingly endless stretch of golden sand. With its gently shelving waterline that entices you into an azure sea, it's tumbledown beachside windmills and backdrop of tree clad hillsides it is a true delight. You can relax, unwind and work on your tan, or if you prefer, enjoy some rather more energetic watersports. Agios Ioannis beach is within walking distance of Villa Lida, as too are the outskirts of Lefkas Town. Take you time and meander along the cobbled streets where you'll find everything from art galleries to a Frankish fortress. There is an extensive choice of bars and tavernas, with the ones around the harbour offering particularly attractive views.
Layout
Set back from a quiet side road and enjoying a flat, easy access location, Villa Lida is a chic, modern property with comfortable, attractive furnishings and more than a touch of luxury. Go through the patio doors and find yourself on the large sun terrace that runs alongside a gorgeous private pool. At the far end the brick built barbecue, complete with terrace and dining area, is just right for al fresco meals at any time of the day or evening.
Layout
The open plan living space is light, cool and tranquil. The pretty lounging area has a sofa and easy chair that snuggle around an open fireplace. Not that you are likely to need it during the warm summer weather! Here too is a television and DVD player, not forgetting the large patio doors that bring inside and out together. The middle of the area is designed for dining, with a large table that comfortably accommodates six at mealtimes should you chose to eat indoors.
Kitchen - Living Room
At the other end of the living area is the stylish, well equipped kitchen. Benefiting from a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, ceramic hob and oven this kitchen will satisfy the chefs amongst us as well as the picnic packers!
Bedrooms
With its designer wallpaper, metal framed double bed and stylish en suite shower room the master bedroom enjoys a touch of opulence.
The twin bedroom is decorated and furnished in similar style to the master bedroom, and it too has an en suite shower room.
Bathrooms
In addition to the en suite shower rooms there is a large bathroom, complete with Jacuzzi, located between the bedrooms. Ideal for relaxing in after a hard day lounging on the beach or by the pool!

Swimming Pool
Just feet away from the villa the private swimming pool and a large sun terrace. There are also some shaded spots where you can enjoy the midday sun without experiencing its full force.

Agios Ioannis
The beach of Agios Ioannis is more than simply a stretch of sand. From the sand dunes to the old stone mills that were once powered by the steady winds that are characteristic of Lefkas, there is something very charismatic about this area. These days, some of the windmills have been converted to upmarket tavernas, whilst the winds now power the numerous water sports such as wind and kite surfing. Designated an area of natural beauty, Agios Ioannis has not been overdeveloped, although it is by no means without facilities, tavernas and a supermarket being available closeby.
