Located in the heart of Chianti country on a 220 hectare farming estate where some excellent wines are produced, this traditional Tuscan farmhouse has been lovingly and beautifully renovated. At the end of a 1.5km track, (not ideal for low slung sports cars) surrounded by idyllic countryside and extensive lawned gardens, Villa Dosi is a haven of peace and serenity.
 

Large and homely, its furnishings are tasteful and in keeping with the property. It has a wealth of original features, from the fluted ceilings, so typical of the area to exposed beams and massive fireplaces that are both attractive and functional. With eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms, Villa Dosi sleeps up to 16 people, making it ideal for larger groups holidaying together.
 

The air conditioned ground floor comprises a large living room, dining and kitchen area, a laundry, two double and one twin bedroom, each with en suite. Upstairs are three small reception rooms, a large kitchen with dining area, three double and two twin bedrooms and a further four shower rooms.
 

Immediately outside the house is a pleasant covered terrace, which looks out over the extensive lawned gardens to the rolling countryside beyond. On the opposite side of the property is a large pool for the exclusive use of guests. This also makes the most of the panoramic views that surround the area.
The pool is available from 1st May to 31st October.
