Built in the sixteenth century, when it belonged to Gallipoli nobility, Li Foggi is a large Masseria, or farm building, that has recently been the subject of an extensive and high quality renovation. Located in the countryside twixt Torre del Pizzo and Gallipoli, this beautiful property sits in extensive grounds and is also only a short distance from the beautiful sandy beaches that skirt the local coastline.

The property now comprises eight suites, some with one bedroom, others with two. Each has a bathroom, living area and well equipped kitchenette. The decor and furnishings are very individual, though are influenced by Salentine and Moorish styles and designs. Warm colours decorate the walls, whilst woven rugs and curtained beds continue the theme. Several of the rooms have huge vaulted ceilings and ancient stonework is revealed in places.

The suites are classes as Superior and Deluxe. All are beautifully finished to the same high standards, the main difference being the size of the accommodation, although all can accommodate up to 4 or 5 people.

Accommodation includes breakfast, which is often served on a patio in the beautiful garden where there is also plenty of space to relax, sunbathe or simply enjoy the Salento countryside. If relaxation is top of your to do list a visit to the wellness zone, where natural oil massage is offered, will be a welcome addition to your holiday activities. Whilst for more energetic guests bicycles are also available.
