The northeast corner of Corfu is a perfect example of natural harmony, with mountain crags overlooking rolling, olive-clad hills and a series of serene bays and coves, some of them still only accessible by boat. Villa Kessar is located on one of these hills, just 2 kms from the delightful little harbour resort of St Stephanos and 3 kms from Avlaki, with its great crescent of white pebble beach and its excellent sailing centre.
The villa occupies an exceptionally private location, set amidst pretty gardens planted with Mediterranean shrubs, and with enchanting glimpses of the sea and the coastlines of both Corfu and Albania.
Layout
The bungalow-style accommodation is all on one floor, making this a villa very suitable for people with mobility problems. All rooms open on to terraces that overlook the gardens and the olive groves that surround the property, and there are several pleasant areas in which to enjoy an outdoor meal or just sit and read or relish the peace. A few steps lead up to the large swimming pool that enjoys uninterrupted views all round and has a separate children's pool beside it.
Just one step leads up from the parking area and front garden into the house, which has recently been completely renovated. Simply furnished, but bright and attractive, the rooms all open on to terraces, and the bedrooms all have small private patios of their own. The front door opens into the living room, which has a very practical kitchen area along one wall, and a pleasant breakfast or dining area adjoining. The master double bedroom occupies a suite with a foyer and en suite bathroom, and in addition to this there are two twin-bedded rooms and a single bedroom, plus two separate shower rooms. There is a convenient separate laundry-room equipped with washing machine.

Saint Stephanos
Saint Stephanos: The island of Corfu has its secrets and Saint Stephanos, set around a horse-shoe shaped bay, is certainly one of them. An extremely pretty fishing village, located between Kalami and Kassiopi, that has managed to retain its traditional look and laidback feel . There is a small local Greek community that welcomes its visitors with the warmth and hospitality for which Greece is famous. The excellent setting, waterfront Tavernas and bars, along with a scattering of mini-markets, shops and boat hire create a delightful Greek island holiday destination.

Kassiopi
Kassiopi is charming fishing village, with a traditional port. Down at the harbour you can find local fishermen bringing home the morning catch. in Kassiopi you will also find a selection of Tavernas, bars, shops and several beaches. In fact, there is something for everyone. The teens in your party will especially appreciate the evening nightlife - with
several music bars and 'low key' clubs, it is a safe environment for them to meet friends.
Kerasia
Kerasia is a long sweeping beach and one of the most beautiful on the island, with excellent swimming and snorkelling. Kerasia is for those looking for complete peace and quiet, to laze in the sun or enjoy a quiet read, with an excellent beach Taverna and a small shop to cater for your beach needs.
Avlaki
Avlaki Beach is a beautiful sweeping bay with a gently sloping beach and fabulously clear turquoise waters . No wonder Avlaki is a favourite for the locals! The beach is fringed by just a few villas, two tavernas serving local food, and a small sailing school offering dinghy sailing and sail-boarding. Avlaki really is a Greek Island heaven.
Agni Bay
Agni Bay: In Greek Agni means un-spoilt and this describes Agni perfectly - just
three Tavernas (each with their own jetty for mooring up to) and a sprinkle of local buildings. The bay is reached mainly by rented motor boats, although recently
there is now a narrow road down into the bay. Each evening we offer a 'Speed Boat' taxi service, from surrounding bays to Taverna Agni. The above video shows the exciting experience.
