Cool elegance and attention to detail characterize this exceptional villa which simply oozes with refinement and finesse. There are four capacious bedrooms, each with its own en suite bath or shower room. The living areas are spacious and uncluttered, offering plenty of room to accommodate eight people with ease. The villa highlight is the private pool with its views down to Saint Stephanos.
The comfortable, relaxing living room, big kitchen and larger than usual infinity pool all contribute to the sense of easy living, while the magnificent views have to be seen to be believed. Air-conditioned throughout, and with lots of shaded outdoor space for relaxing, this must be one of Corfu's most attractive holiday villas.
Villa Angeliki overlooks the bay of Saint Stephanos with the beach, tavernas, supermarkets and 'low-key' bars within walking distance.
Layout
Villa Angeliki is approached via a short lane, just behind the village of Saint Stephanos. Upon arrival, you are greeted by superb views. The entrance hall of the villa opens into the living room, off which there is a large kitchen. Also on the ground floor are two twin bedrooms, each with en suite shower room, and a utility room. Upstairs there is the master double bedroom and a twin bedroom, each with en suite and balcony.
Downstairs, two covered terraces open out onto the extensive poolside terrace, equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as comfortable outdoor seating and ample dining furniture.
Living Area
Cool white with warm touches of coral, the living room is a haven of calm and tranquillity. Elegantly understated, it has three commodious sofas and just a few other well-chosen pieces of furniture. These do nothing to distract the eye from the fabulous views visible through the balcony windows on either side of the handsome fireplace. These windows open on to a covered terrace furnished with smart, modern rattan seating, which flanks the lovely infinity pool.
Kitchen
The kitchen is a gourmets' delight. Fully fitted and very modern, it has plenty of storage and work space. It benefits from a huge fridge/freezer, halogen hob and full size oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is a homely, unpretentious feel about the attractive china and utensils that takes the villa into a category far superior to average rented accommodation.
Bedrooms
Each bedroom enjoys its own en suite bath or shower room and wonderful sea views. Simply yet attractively furnished, they all have handsome traditional iron bedsteads and are decorated using fresh, summery colour schemes.
The master bedroom, on the upper floor, has a double bed and en suite bathroom, which includes both a full bath and a separate shower. Light and airy, it has three large windows as well as double doors that open on to a sun terrace overlooking the pool and coastline beyond.
The second upstairs bedroom is a twin. Again large, light and attractive, with fabulous views; it has its own sumptuous en suite shower room.
Downstairs, both the twin bedrooms lead off from the living room. Each has an en suite shower room.
The sense of light and space in the bedrooms, as with the whole villa, cannot be understated. Each room is crisp, bright and charming.
Bathrooms
The four en suite bathrooms have been fitted out to the highest contemporary standards, and continue the sleekly elegant theme of the entire house.
The Master bedroom has a full bath and separate shower.
The beautiful sun terrace and generously-sized infinity pool form the perfect complement to the villa. The views down over the village and harbour of Saint Stephanos are quite superb.

Outside the kitchen, in a sheltered corner of the terrace, right by the pool, the outdoor dining table must be the place of choice for those unforgettable al fresco meals that are so much a part of a holiday in Corfu. The table expands to seat 8 in comfort, and a large umbrella provides the necessary shade.
Patio doors from the sitting room lead to a shaded and comfortable seating terrace, next to the pool.

Although the property has four bedrooms, the owner prefers a maximum occupancy of 6 people. Additional numbers can be considered (up to 8 people) for a supplement per person
The road leading up to the villa has not yet been asphalted and is quite rough in places; this should be borne in mind when choosing what kind of car to hire.
No smoking is permitted inside the property.

Saint Stephanos
Saint Stephanos: The island of Corfu has its secrets and Saint Stephanos, set around a horse-shoe shaped bay, is certainly one of them. An extremely pretty fishing village, located between Kalami and Kassiopi, that has managed to retain its traditional look and laidback feel . There is a small local Greek community that welcomes its visitors with the warmth and hospitality for which Greece is famous. The excellent setting, waterfront Tavernas and bars, along with a scattering of mini-markets, shops and boat hire create a delightful Greek island holiday destination.

You are also welcome to visit the local Agni Travel Corfu office for Wi-Fi. Many Agni Travel rental properties also offer internet. However Agni Travel does not guarantee 100% up time or promise that your device will connect to it. Some iPad versions and Laptops are not compatible with older Wi-Fi router architecture, which is widely used in Greece and Agni Travel is not responsible if you are unable to connect to a network.

Avlaki
Avlaki Beach is a beautiful sweeping bay with a gently sloping beach and fabulously clear turquoise waters . No wonder Avlaki is a favourite for the locals! The beach is fringed by just a few villas, two tavernas serving local food, and a small sailing school offering dinghy sailing and sail-boarding. Avlaki really is a Greek Island heaven.
