Bougainvillea is a family home, located in the quiet village of Loustri just above Agni bay, with superb views over towards Kalami. The villa sleeps 4-8 people, with four air conditioned bedrooms. The property is ideal for two families or a large family with teenagers who want their own space.
Layout
Entrance is into the 1st floor: Open plan kitchen, lounge, 2 air conditioned bedrooms (master and a twin), bathroom. Sliding patio doors to main terrace over looking pool. Ground Floor: Air conditioned open plan living/kitchen/bedroom area with twin beds (that can open into an additional 2 beds if required.). Separate double air conditioned bedroom and bathroom.
The villa has Wi-Fi internet.
Living Area
The welcoming lounge area is relaxing, informal and colourful. It has LCD TV system with DVD and free satellite stations. There is also a portable CD/radio.
Large sliding doors lead to an impressive balcony. From here, look out across the coastline and Corfu channel to the stunning mountain ranges of Albania that lay beyond.
At night, romantic lighting compliments the floodlit pool and gardens.
The wide covered balcony is ideal for eating while enjoying the sea views and Kalami in the distance.
Kitchen
There is a well-equipped kitchen, fitted with dishwasher, washing machine, full sized oven and hob plus microwave, there is also a separate fridge and freezer. The kitchen also benefits from air conditioning, as do all rooms on the upper level.
Bedrooms
Upper Level
Upstairs there are two light and airy air conditioned bedrooms, one double with king-sized bed, and one twin.
The master bedroom has French doors leading to the main balcony. With breathtaking views, it is just the place for enjoying that morning cup of tea or coffee.
The second, twin bedded, room has a large picture window with scenic views.
Lower Level
The lower level has its own covered balcony, offering a wonderful view across the infinity pool, over the sea towards Albania.
Downstairs there are two air conditioned bedrooms.
The master bedroom on the lower level benefits from air conditioning and patio doors out onto a covered balcony.
The second bedroom, also air conditioned has two large sofa beds which can be opened into doubles.
The 2 double sofa beds can easily accommodation 4 small children in this room, if required.
In the same room there is also a small kitchen area; ideal for preparing snacks and drinks for around the pool.
Bathrooms
Both upstairs and downstairs bathrooms are spacious and have generously-sized showers.
Linen, hand towels and bath towels are provided, along with maid service.
Outside is a stunning 'infinity' style pool with separate plunge pool, just right for relaxing in with a G&T!

Outside Dining
To the side of the pool a large olive tree provides shade for the outside dining table.
To the left of the villa there is private parking for two vehicles and well maintained terraced gardens, which are awash with colour and potted plants. Here you will also find a carefully concealed clothes drying area.
There are several places around the house where you can enjoy outdoor meals and drinks in privacy. These include a large poolside patio area, complete with BBQ, and two spacious, covered verandas.

The idyllic bay of Agni can be reached via a goat-track down through the olive groves, where you will find three tavernas, including our own Taverna Agni. (Note: the path is not suitable for the elderly or infirm.)

Loustri
Loustri: is still a completely unchanged Corfiot hamlet, with a cafeneion that also serves as a local shop and bakery where shopping is a uniquely friendly experience. The houses of Loustri cluster along a ridge, at the end of which a road winds down to the bays of Agni, Yialiskari and on to Kalami, with beautiful beaches, excellent tavernas, and a wide range of amenities including shops and water sports.

Internet is widely available on Corfu. Most tavernas, bars and even supermarkets offer free wi-fi in return for a drink or small purchase. You are also welcome to visit the local Agni Travel Corfu office for Wi-Fi. Many Agni Travel rental properties also offer internet. However Agni Travel does not guarantee 100% up time or promise that your device will connect to it. Some iPad versions and Laptops are not compatible with older Wi-Fi router architecture, which is widely used in Greece and Agni Travel is not responsible if you are unable to connect to a network.

Kalami
Kalami: The bay of Kalami nestles below the hills of the North East Corfu and is famous for
both its beautiful beach, and Lawrence Durrell's 'White House'. A popular destination for couples, Kalami is also
ideal for a family holiday with tavernas, safe swimming, water sports and boat hire - everyone is catered for!
Krouzeri Beach
Krouzeri has a long beach (sandy and pebbles) offering safe swimming, water sports and diving. Beachside tavernas provide welcome refreshments to those enjoying the beach and excellent snorkelling. The nearby Nissaki Beach Hotel offers a swimming pool which is open to non-residents, a restaurant and bar and, during the evening a low-key disco. There is a jetty/collection point for the water taxis which operate in the area.
Kaminaki
Kaminaki, located on Corfu's north-east coastline is spectacularly beautiful, but has remained uniquely unspoilt in spite of its celebrity-status.
Kaminaki is one of the small and enchanting bays that stud this coastline like jewels on a necklace. Still only a hamlet, with village houses occupied by their original local inhabitants, it has a mixture of modern and converted accommodation, two unpretentious tavernas (and others within easy reach), and water of Caribbean colours that laps against a gently shelving beach of pure white pebbles and sand.
Saint Stephanos
Saint Stephanos: The island of Corfu has its secrets and Saint Stephanos, set around a horse-shoe shaped bay, is certainly one of them. An extremely pretty fishing village, located between Kalami and Kassiopi, that has managed to retain its traditional look and laidback feel . There is a small local Greek community that welcomes its visitors with the warmth and hospitality for which Greece is famous. The excellent setting, waterfront Tavernas and bars, along with a scattering of mini-markets, shops and boat hire create a delightful Greek island holiday destination.
