Pre-book your taxi transfer to your accommodation to ensure that you will be met at Kefalonia Airport even if your flight is delayed or arrives at a late hour.
 

A booking fee of 20 euro can be paid when booking accommodation through Agni Travel. The taxi fare is then paid direct to your taxi driver in Kefalonia. Local payments are in cash (euro).
 

 

Local taxis can charge double rate for transfers between the hours of midnight and 0500. However, these taxi transfer rates do not show any premium for such late transfers. We just ask that you bear this in mind and if you are travelling in 'unsocial hours' show your appreciation direct to the taxi driver.
 

If you would like a chauffeur driven air-conditioned Mercedes to take your for some exclusive island viewing, this can be arranged on an hourly basis with suggested itineraries or to your own specification.
 

English speaking taxi driver will be supplied to give you a brief outline of the regions visited.
 

 

When using a taxi in Kefalonia it is usual to tip your driver whether you wait for your taxi at the airport or have a prebooked service. A ten per cent tip is usually sufficient although sometimes you will find that rounding up the taxi fare works well. Consider the amount of luggage your driver has manouvered into the car and the time of your transfer when tipping!

A booking fee of 20 euro is payable on reservation. This can be paid when paying the balance of your Agni Travel accommodation and is the same for single or return journeys. The prices include local taxes and luggage transfer.
Tipping the driver is at your discretion.
 

Kefalonia taxis are licensed to operate strictly regionally which means that a taxi returning from an airport to Fiscardo transfer cannot be flagged down on his return journey unless it is a taxi licensed in the Fiscardo region. When you book a taxi locally on Kefalonia you will pay for the taxi as soon as it leaves the taxi station to collect you, not as soon as you get into the car.
 

 

For a small group you may prefer to book a mini-bus transfer rather than a few taxis.
 

We have mini-buses which take 16, 18 or 22 passengers available for airport transfers, private excursions and wedding groups.
