The Villa and grounds were in fantastic condition and Emilios who was there upon our arrival and most days, was a gracious host showing us around the local area, best tavernas and nearby shops. This part of the island is glorious, quiet, unspoilt and above all the local people were incredibly kind. All sixteen of us had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to come back to Corfu. I recommend hiring a car for this area to explore nearby inlets etc. Scooters were also available from the nearby town for more adventuring.

Thalia Estate is a gem. Very well designed and executed, perfect for several families who want to holiday together. The houses are extremely well furnished and equipped, and the pool is great. For early risers, the view across to Albania, as the sun rises over the mountains, is a treat. The nearby beach at Agia Spiridon is a well kept secret, and Acharavi, the local town (5km), is good for supermarkets, eating out (Afros for fish!) and the best dive centre in Corfu.
